The Nkuringo Walking Safari was started as community initiative to support the youth in Nkuringo, this was developed through opening trails from the Hamlet of Bwindi Impenetrable forest in Buhoma, crossing the Kashasha River route and Ivy Rivers in this UN Heritage site and home of the endangered mountain Gorillas.
